I started this picture about a hundred times and kept deleting it because I couldn't get the pose right. Β I finally managed it, YAY!

You could almost use this as a bookmark. I mean, maybe not in a slim volume of poetry for tea readings or anything, but for a good adventure book? Sure.

And you discover something new every time ^^ Aardman cram an amazing amount of details into the backgrounds. It's so much fun to find stuff.
The ones you really want to do are always the ones that are most difficult, I think. Because you get such a clear picture in your head that it's almost impossible to get it down exactly the way you want. At least that's the problem I always have with story illustrations.
