Alright, my friends! Time for a little game! Can you find the connection between these four characters?1. The Doctor (Dr. Who)
2. The Pirate Captain (Pirates! Band of Misfits)
3. Milo Murpy (Milo Murphy's Law)
4. Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins)
Venture a guess before looking at the other comments. No peeking, now.
A hint *Rover could be in this lineup

Thank you all so much for your guesses! There were some really interesting ones. Several of you got it right, though.
The answer is:
They all own something that is bigger on the inside.
1. The Doctor owns the Tardis, which, on the outside is just a phone box but on the inside holds a library, a swimming pool, endless hallways....oh, and a dying sun!!!
2. The Pirate Captain's beard seems to have some sort of spatial anomoly inside it as he can hold an umbrella, a dodo bird, a water bottle dressed as a dodo bird all inside it.
3. Milo Murphy's backpack is only one of the anomolies surrounding the kid. He has everything he could possibly need in any disaster contained in that little pack of his......including a ships anchor about ten times the size of himself.
4. Mary Poppins carpet bag is clearly bigger on the inside when we see her pull out a six foot floor lamp, a giant mirror and a house plant from inside!

Nice! It took me awhile to come up with that, at first I was gonna say they have a ship or time travel, but they don’t all do those things.

Dr's 9, 10 and 11 are pretty good. 12 had some really cool episodes (Robin Hood!!!!!!) but it had a pretty creepy continuing storyline. I mean it wasn't creepy to start out with but when you actually figured out what was going on....... Heh....usually the show goes the other way around though. You start out thinking...um...this is kind of creepy and then the reveal comes and you are like "Oh, THATS whats been going on!! that makes so much sense!" But honestly it's a show that is a mixed bag. There are some fantastic episodes and some creepy ones. I'd find a Dr. Who fan you know and who knows what you like. Because there are litterally 60 years of episodes, some absolutely awesome and some not so much.

I think bigger on the inside might be true, because I know the Doctor has that, and so does Rover. I'd guess Poppins has it too, and Milo has his backpack and you know how cartoon characters are with backpacks. I'm not sure about the pirate though.

I was going to say that they all feature animation to some degree, Doctor Who included... and I would say 'bag of holding' because... well, Rover has his multi-tool arm and Mary Poppins has her bag (of holding!) and the doctor has the sonic-screwdriver...
They've all got a little Brit-UK in them... I think... (Can't really say much about Milo because I never watched his show...)
...And I doubt Dick Van Dyke is a common factor.
