...Ok, Sorry but I feel like this needs to be pointed out..while Im not going to tell you re-do anything, I have to say that even if this is supposed to be torture it seems to have other implications. I don't really know how comfortable I am with having it thrown in my face like that. I and several of my friends find that the last panel especially is not exactly all age friendly, and its making me, at least, all kinds of uncomfortable.
I should not feel the need to hide this from my parents when they come around to look at the computer.
In the future remember that as the main admin, your art is not supposed to be this brave. It's isolative, especially to folks who are here without interest in sexual activity.
The group does not have a warning rating. As funny as you may find it, others will no doubt find it unsettling. As some have already come to show.
Innuendoes are fine, and making suggestions is also fine, so long as they're tame. But this is just pushing it into our faces, and given how this is the MAIN comic, that EVERYONE HAS to look at, it should not have material like the last panel present so obviously.

I'm not really sure what the issue is. Yes it's meant to be mildly suggestive at first, but then subverts that with the actual torture process itself being extremely cartoonish. They're restrained and being tickled by their + super effective elements. If you're getting something else out of that, then you're most likely looking for it.

Honestly, in my opinion. I don't see what makes it uncomfortable. I'm not siding with anyone, but i guess I can see how she would see it in some ways, but only if you make it that way. It's supposed to be torture. And that's what it is. You can't dumb down torture, even for kids. They'll come across it in some form in the future anyways. I think you did a good job, and this is only page 2, so we can really mark this comic as inappropriate because the mere second page. I personally love it all ready. Maybe in the future you just put a filter warning up when you submit, but that's just a suggestion. It's all really up to you, and the younger members don't like it, the can just leave.

There's so many reasons why I'm laughing at this page.
The sceptile looks like some poor rotisserie pig and I actually feel sorry for the ninjas at the same time but their faces-- I can't help but giggle
And the fact that some are thinking "S and M" and the first thought I had to this page was "Oh God, please tell me Donovan isn't some kind of executioner too"

The Greninja seems to be dealing with the torture better than the Sceptile.

...how on earth do you get that? A spit roast has a pole going across two stands, and the "pig" is tied on it and cooked as it's turned. I see no central pole.
Though you do have a point on the gutter thing. (But you gotta admit you were at least a little suspicious when Don put on that strap-vest thing for no reason.)

because he has his mouth stuffed and he's hanging over a fire. He's not actually being cooked on a spitroast, hence why he's not on a spit, but it is still based no that. Donovan does want him alive after all, so he wouldn't put him on a real spitroast

Still, if the spitroast was what Sundance intended, I think that Sceptile would have been hanging from a vertebral bar.

The intention is that he's immobilized over a small, semi-threatening fire in the most uncomfortable/overly tied-up position possible to play off his type weakness.
A vertebral bar was too awkward to fit into the frame and got in the way of his tail, so instead the 'spitroast' on the sticks is attatched to his collar and cuffs like a guillotine.
