Description
Toppa learns the hard way that Master Easel doesn't take 'no' for an answer.Page 3 will be coming later. I'm still working on this, but thought I'd share the first two pages since I'm quite happy with how this turned out.

Looky that, a Batto-jutsu stance. Reminds me of Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki from Rurouni Kenshin, 'cept that Kenshin leads with his left foot.

Oh wow your actions shots are bloody amazing, and I love the idea using a smeargle's tail as a sort-of-sword. Could you tell me Easel's full moveset?

His full moveset is Extremespeed, Endeavor, Gravity and Trick room.

Ughhhhh Master Easel makes me mad!! What an asshat, its not like Toppa wants to be trained. Eghhh I hope the kid runs away! ;___; this looks amazing by the way. Just leaves me all kinds of frustrated, though.
Like, what does he even get out of bullying a kid? I dont get iiiit. I can't wait to see more of what's wrong with jerkface there

I'm glad Easel is getting this kind of reaction. He's definately supposed to be a 'love to hate' character. Hopefully I'll be able to explain his motives in this comic without giving too much away.

I'm glad people like the arrows idea. I was struggling to find a way to represent Gravity as a move. I figured that a smeargle would paint up Trick Room/Gravity literally using symbols.
However I haven't quite figured out how to properly draw Trick Room. I want it to be simple M.C. Escher style visual paradoxes with lines. I'll have to look up some references.

I'm still unsure if "beautiful" is 3 syllables or 4. If It's actually 4 I might have to use a different word.

depends on how you pronounce it. Mostly in the way of the eau. Some people pronounce those thre letters with 2 some with 1. I think either is acceptable.
Of course if your jim carey it has 6 syllables

I really really really enjoy the fact that Master Easel uses his tail as a "sword" in some way (Or a really neat extension of his body/ weapon or some kind) . /ouo/ Also that last panel with the Druddigon made me giggle a bit.
