Description
Location: Page, Arizona - Footsteps away from Horseshoe Bend.Equipment: Canon 1dS | 17-40 L | Singh Ray Vari-ND - set at 3 stops
Right as we arrived at Horseshoe Bend, the sun disappeared on the distant horizon. Clouds were evolving in color changing every minute with vibrant hues. Horseshoe Bend was covered in deep shadows and my long exposures were only creating blown-out highlights in the sky. These clouds displayed in the photo could not be seen on the overlook of Horseshoe Bend.
I wanted to use these spectacular clouds, in a classic desert scene.
I like this frame, but something bothers me a bit. Honest feedback would be appreciated.
PS: Posting my favorite image tomorrow.

Awesome light,
Maybe its that the clouds are too big, they kinda 'get in the way' of the sky, to me.. the rocks on the ground are nicely placed in the frame , but yeah, I think it's the big cloud although the light on them is stunning
