The war is over, but the consequences continue to be felt. Many families have lost members, often the essential patriarchs and providers, or else valuable sons needed to assist with harvests. There are rumors of reduced crop yields, and merchants complain of a weakened economy, even across the border into Eithne. To a greater or lesser degree, almost every Forged is feeling the effects of the war, and some speculate that perhaps Kaia's favor has shifted. With continued encroachment of Vagabonds and the unsettling growth of the Silverwood trees, there is certainly an uneasy air permeating much of the continent.

How have you been affected by the war, or the changes in Onea?

The Bloody Flanks had suffered multiple hardships that many thought would be impossible to bounce back from. However, their enemy had fallen on some hard times too. Faust let out laugh through a bloody wet cough at the news Nemesis delivered to him. He had been sick for months, breathing hurt, but the words of Hira and her mindless sheep's strife was too much. The playing field seemed to be evening once again. The Flanks would get another chance.
