I love the balance between light and dark here, but Sonic doesn't look happy about holding Amy as she sleeps. It's like he's only doing it as a way of saying "Fine."

Actually I think its more along the lines of a blank expression. When he is a werehog a blank expression looks like he is frowning, a smile looks like he's gonna eat you and a frown looks like he is gonna kill you ... at least that is just my perspective.
