Haha, oh cats are freaking awesome! My mum has a boarding cattery so I couldn't imagine life without cats. I hope you can get a cat soon, I know how much you want one!

That's even more awesome! I'd be so happy if there was a cattery like that nearby. I'd want to run one like that at some point in my life. As of now, when we move into the apartment, we're getting my friend's (and soon to be roommate's) cat Bridget, a fat white and orange one who doesn't get along with other cats. My friend has tons of cats, so Bridget is really unhappy. They have to get rid of her...so they're getting rid of her to us so she has a home. My friend says she's a total sweetheart around people.

Aww, that's great! Are you going to keep her name Bridget? It's a pretty name and she sounds like a gorgeous cat, I have to see photos at some point!

Well hopefully you fulfill your dream of having a cattery, it's a great idea for a business if you ask me; you can stay home all day and you get to meet many beautiful and friendly cats!

I'll send a picture of the kitty once she lives with us. There might be a problem since one of my other friends is moving in, and she wants to bring her budgie, and somehow cat and bird in same house could possibly equal disaster. Eep. But I <3 kitties!

I hope so too. My future already entitles being a crazy cat lady, so having a cattery would be right along that line. Cats are beyond awesome. They just sit there, but I love them anyway!

Haha, yay! I can't wait!! I don't think a budgie and cat would be too bad, just make sure they're not in the same room.

We officially have the apartment and they allow birds, so it's going to be interesting to see how the cat and bird get along. They had a bunch of stray cats in Argentina and they were so sweet!

Awww... I always feel sorry for stray cats, I always want to take them home with me and give them some well-needed love.

Haha, well Misty is an outside cat, and she used to chase birds so we had to make sure they got away before she got them. My other cats are indoor ones though so they don't have much chance of catching birds.
