Description Don't know which one is better...

Picture from a duel on demiart.ru (I won)

Tsarevna is the same as princess in Russian history.

Both story and character design belong to me.

Description (sorry for my English, feel free to correct me!):
There is dryad in every tree and there is tsarevna in every copper vein. Tsarevnas are not monuments, they are living, sensible creatures. They can move, even through rock, but very, very slow, unnoticeable for eyes. So the rocks are their clothes, their home and their only defense.
People can't see them, they just see the copper veins instead. So they don't know that they are slowly and excruciatingly killing the living creature.
Usually tsarevnas don't appear on the surface all the way, so they have enough time to escape, losing only their braid part of the jewellery. However, this tsarevna is not so lucky.
By the way, not only their bodies move slowly, but also their tears. So by the time the first tear fall, both of her legs will be long lost.

I've never written a review before, but I wanted to say that this really struck me. I've always appreciated mythology, and like to acknowledge it as an alternate perspective of the world around us. This piece of mythology builds off of the myths of wood- and water-based dryads and nymphs with a stone-based being whose presence is the ore man seeks within rocks.

Not only is this creature well imagined, but she is also well portrayed, particularly in a tragic moment when she has been tapped into by man and his means to break into stone. There is a solemn time being expressed in which she will die because her escape is far too slow in contrast to man's speed of mining.

There is not outright antagonistic feel of hatred against mining and refining. Instead it is a quiet voice that says that in the same way that deforesting regions takes away the dryads mythology speaks of, and polluting waters takes away the nymphs mythology also speaks of, so also mining takes away the metal-cored beings that are here spoken of in a mythological way.

Tremendous color, very successful depiction of anguish and a fascinating look at another mythos. Β This is a tremendous image, but it's very hard to look at it for long.

I like this version better! The copper-like clothing it's simply stunning!

I'm not gonna use the critique thigie up there as I'm feeling completely comfortable to give a complete critique of your work, but I feel as if her feet feel a little off, especially her left one--it might be the perspective, and how the cloth covering it doesn't give the feeling that there's any sole underneath it, rather it's as if it's chopped off. Hope that helps~
