Description Some updates. Finished adding the linings and details on his body and fingers. Also finished work on the Infinity Gauntlet. Started working on the base.

Also fixed his right arm. I didn't notice earlier that it was twisted all wrong (biceps were facing upwards, not sideways).

Thanks He's actually larger than he looks. I'll post pics soon of him beside a soda can.

Fantastic work,as always I'm curious if you are using various-colored materials for different parts to make it easier for you and see the shapes better because of the contrast, while you sculpt? Or is it merely coincidental ? And is the dark beige material modeling clay(not hardeding) or polymer clay?
I bet this statue will look badass once cast and painted

It's part coincidental and part on purpose. I ran out of the dark clay I use and then I found a cheaper locally made clay, turns out it was whiter. So I decided to make things clean by finishing the body with the remaining dark clay, then the other parts with the new white clay.

Oh it isn't wood this time, it's all clay.

wow how do you make the arms and legs without breaking it? and do you have a kiln to bake it in or do you air dry it?

There are armature wires underneath to keep things steady. No need to bake this as I'm making a mold then cast a resin statue. After which I can melt the clay and reuse it for a different sculpt

wow cool! i wish i could do that but i dont know how to use armatures and i have no room... how do you make a mold and cast a statue? i know you fill the mold in with something but how does resin work?

Depends, some are viscous so they're poured into the mold to make a solid cast. Some, like what I use, is thick like toothpaste and is brushed along the walls of the mold to make a hollow cast.

nice! will the end result be plastic, metal, or some other material?

Resin is kind of like a breakable plastic, or something similar to ceramic. Kinda hard to explain

interesting that is so cool! will you just sell the resin clones then? how long did this take you?

Yeah I sell them just like my previous SF statues Takes around 1 week to finish from casting to final
