What a Charmer~
Taffy can temporarily charm a person or monster as a form of distraction. They cannot focus on anyone but Taffy for a limited amount of time. When charmed, they appear to be infatuated with Taffy and often sigh at the sight of him. Some may offer something in their possession or an item nearby to Taffy in order to gain Taffy’s affection.

1 - He can charm a human for 5 minutes.
2 - He can charm a demigod/legacy for 5 minutes and a human for 7.
3 - He can charm a small monster for 5 minutes, a demigod/legacy for 7 and a human for 10.
4 - He can charm a medium-sized monster for 5 minutes, a small monster for 7, a demigod/legacy for 10 and a human for 13.
5 - He can charm a large monster for 5 minutes, a medium-sized monster for 7, a small monster for 10, a demigod/legacy for 13 and a human for 15.

Love Potion No. 9
Taffy has the innate sense what to use to create a potion to incite feelings of attraction and eventually superficial love.

6 - Taffy can create one potion a day. These potions expire 2 days after creation and only last on a subject for 5 minutes.
7 - Taffy can create one potion a day. These potions expire 4 days after creation and only last on a subject for 15 minutes.
8 - Taffy can create one potion a day. These potions expire a week after creation and only last on a subject for 30 minutes.
9 - Taffy can create two potions a day. These potions expire 10 days after creation and only last on a subject for an hour.
10 - Taffy can create two potions a day. These potions expire 15 days after creation and only last on a subject for two hours.

Love-Sick
Taffy can make a person sick from an overload of feelings of infatuation for a temporary amount of time by blowing a kiss at them.

11 – By blowing a kiss at someone he can make them feel as though they have butterflies in their stomach around Taffy for up to five minutes. He can only use this on one person at a time.
12 – By blowing a kiss at someone he can make them feel so infatuated with him that they cannot help but sigh around Taffy for up to ten minutes. They now have a dreamy look to their eyes and all thoughts are of Taffy.
13 – By blowing a kiss at someone he can make them feel as though their heart is in their throat and they are rendered speechless around Taffy for up to fifteen minutes. He can only use this on one person at a time.
14 - By blowing a kiss at someone he can make them feel faint around Taffy for up to 20 minutes. His victim feels the need to sit down and if they cannot sit down, they may collapse. He can only use this on one person at a time.
15 - By blowing a kiss at someone he can make them feel as though they cannot go on without seeing Taffy. This can last for up to 30 minutes when Taffy is around, but only 20 minutes when he isn’t around. The victim cannot bring themselves to do anything productive during this time. He can only use this on one person at a time.

Personality:
Taffy is, in short, a trouble maker. Like his brother he likes to stir up trouble and thoroughly enjoys seeing how his lovely powers affect people. He can be immature and selfish, but is extremely loyal to his brother and his half-siblings. He is easily bored and typically can’t stay still for very long unless if he’s determined or focused on doing something.

Fatal Flaw:
Selfish
Taffy is truly selfish. Although he shares much with his twin, Ty, he hordes many things to himself and is also known for tormenting playing with others for his own benefit entertainment-wise. Taffy is so selfish that he would do whatever it takes to protect himself (and Ty) above all else.

History:
William Taft grew up in a small town in Colorado with his identical twin brother Tyler, his grandparents and his father. William and Tyler’s father was a fashion designer in Vegas, but he worked in his private studio at the boys’ grandparents’ house as much as possible to be with his boys. They’d heard the story of how their parents met countless times: their father had been designing outfits in Vegas when he met their mother: the most beautiful woman in the world. She was intrigued and interested by his ideas and their passion was like a flame. And then she left. Their father never seemed bitter about it, so the boys never felt a need to feel bitter for their mother not being around either.

Their grandparents ran a candy shop for their home-made candies. Although his brother Ty didn’t take to making candies so much as eating them, William, then nicknamed Billy, seemed to be a natural at handling sweets. It was helping his grandparents in the shop that earned him the new nickname: Taffy.

When the boys were 12 their dad brought home a woman. They realized from the start that someone was wrong with her, but their father wouldn’t hear of it. Later, when they’d been left alone with the woman, they realized that she was actually a monster, a harpy, in disguise! She attacked them, but the twins, with their constant antics and skill for running away, managed to avoid her and ran away from the house.

When they came back hours later, it was to find their dad staring t the mess. He accused them of making the mess and for scaring off the woman. Upset, the boys sat outside on the porch while their father cleaned before their grandparents could come home to discover the mess. While moping, Lupa approached the two and told them what they were and how their very presence put their family at risk. They agreed to go with her to train and, after packing a bag each and leaving a note for their dad, they left for Camp Jupiter.

The boys brought their most precious things: Taffy stocked up on his favorite candies from the shop and Ty brought his sewing kit. A couple months later they made it to Camp, only rarely visiting their father.

After three years of service, Taffy was chosen to become the new Centurion for the Fourth Cohort. He’s still new to his position and is still a little too casual with his brood.
