Here we go, the first page.Insight - 2
It's been quite a process; I don't usually spend more than eight hours on a regular picture, but I'm pretty sure this one took me well above that. I really hope you all enjoy it, though! I'm so excited to show the rest of the comic to you. ^^

I have a feeling this comic is serious by looking at Emily’s somewhat realistic eyes.

I think it's particularly interesting how you've drawn Emily's eyes in this series so far. In past drawings she has circular eye designs, while this series uses a sharper, more anime-esque shape. I couldn't help but feel like she looks particularly older as a result; instead of exhibiting a curious, wide-eyed expression in her youth, she seems more mature and world-weary. She's probably seen some dark things, and her eyes provide a hint toward her past.
Or it's just a simple stylistic change.
I may not have followed your characters' stories as much as some of your fans, but I am no less excited to see what comes next!
