Well...I asked her to surprise me with whatever she'll draw for me and to my surprise she said the same and the arrangement backfire on me to my surprise because I couldn't decide whether to draw NetherIndo or AussieNesia..

It's some sort of scarf for Batak people. Kinda like batik
Primarily ulos use three colors. Black for death/hell, Red for life/earth, white for heaven
You must wear ulos on your right because if it's on left, meaning you are already dead. They place ulos on the left shoulder on corpses

Naaaah, Indonesia doesn't ship to AussieIndo and NetherIndo anymore ever since the White Australia Policy in 1906 and the Dutch Military Agression in 1945. Plus both Netherlands and Australia are a bit wary of Indonesians because of the recent Islamphobia hype that gained popularity in the Western countries. There has been warning issues to travel to Indonesia in Australia following Bali Bombings in 2002 and Geert Wielders (Dutch Right wing Politician) propose a ban for Indonesians (regardless of religion) to enter Netherlands. It was issued because Indonesia is the most populous muslim country in the world. How in the world do our religion become a threat to Netherlands I have no idea.

Ate Indonesia is pretty old so she doesn't take suitors anymore XDDD I think she prefers juicy gossips, soap-operas and take care the ASEAN house.

The details on the clothes and hair are so flipping intricate! I'm surprised that your hand didn't shake while you were holding the brush.

Yep. My hands aren't very shaky ever since I stopped drinking coffee.
And the brush strokes for the hair are done with one flick of the hand, so no need to be slow.hehehe
And dude....I'm not that good with water colors.
