I mentioned before that Hyden is a malingerer. He likes to play up his health issues (some of which are probably legitimate, some of which are probably fictitious) in order to win sympathy, get out of undesirable obligations and chores, and (most importantly) justify several decades of rampantly self-destructive... well, let's call it off-label magic health potion usage. Unfortunately for Hyden (and fortunately for his liver), nobody is buying his act except Theo, and Theo is absolutely straight edge.
