actually not at all, the levels throw new objects at you that do different things, such as objects you must avoid matching, bombs that must be matched within a certain time, and different levels have different victory conditions. I mean it's not the greatest thing ever but it is its own thing for the most part.

In the European version of Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, Vivian was a guy, so I imagine that they'd look similar.

vivan wasn't actually a guy, that was beldam being utterly cruel in making it seem as though she was a boy, it's like this in pretty much every version of the game except for 2 of them. where beldam called vivian a boy it was replaced with the phrase plug-ugly

That actually makes a lot more sense now that I think about it, since I had heard that she was a guy but didn't know where it was actually mentioned in the game, so hearing that it was just a misinterpreted insult sounds a lot more reasonable.
