I think the theme of people's silhouettes on a beach at sunset is not new, but in my opininion an artist doesn't have to reinvent the wheel with every piece of work.
But even though it may be a well known theme, this shot stands out from the rest and it may be one of the best "people on a beach" shots i've ever seen (and i've seen a lot e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
I think this shot is nearly perfect, the composition is striking, the light and the sky are very powerful and the chimney silhouettes in the background provide a great industrial contrast to that natural/beach/sea/sunset theme.
Additionaly, I love the slight curve the footprints of the people produce, that makes the image even more dynamic by adding depth. The widescreen format gives it a cinematic look, which is enhanced by the colors.
Furthermore there are the birds... When I first saw the image I thought it was dirt or something, but that forced me to have a closer look at it. Again, the birds add depth and they ake the image more vibrant.
There's only one very little thing I would have done different, I would have eliminated the dark line at the bottom (approximately at one third of the image from the left) either by clonig out or liquify, because it somehow attracts my view even though it doesn't add to the image.
Nevertheless this is still a very powerful and striking shot, as I already mentioned, one of the best I've ever seen in that style.

For real though, this is amazing!
Vision: My eyes went over every single detail in this shot. It has so much to look at, from the man and woman walking side by side, to the plant making its mark in this world. I absolutely love how you evened it out from the hard/crisp ground and water to the soft and fluffy clouds in the sky.
Technique: By using earth tone colors in this shot, you made it even more appealing to the watcher. It's not overdone or over processed at all. Some people, including myself, tend to go overboard with the contrast and filters in our post processing and you managed to steer clear from all of that.
Impact: Wow! I get so much from this shot.. The harshness of mankind in the distance and the softness of it in the foreground, the crispness of mother nature on the ground and the delicateness above.. each having its own weight in this world.. WELL DONE CHO!

Great, great still. I wanted a good example of what a a900 can do and i found one, or may i say, lots of them?
I just have one question: Do all the A-mount lenses work with your camera?

Thanks, but I have to disappoint and at the same time reassure you. This shot was taken with the Canon EOS 450D (I use the 7D now) at the time and I can assure you that the A900 has a much better sensor and is Full Frame so that usually will create a broader view and less depth of field
