Just got a set of markers from a relative, couldn't wait to test them out. So I drew the family, and my girl thought it should be uploaded.

It's not that she doesn't love him, it's just that both she & Robert have had a long history with each other.
Robert has always loved her. But she looked at him as a "father" figure of sorts, back when Takuma went missing. Robert being the oldest, it was only natural for him to take care of the siblings.
Yuri apparently never forgot what Robert did for them, so she considers him a part of the family; or a very close friend. It's rather hard opening up to someone like that.
She eventually does though, this is all AOF backstory.
I admit, in KOF, the relationship really is downplayed... Heavily.
I don't blame anyone for thinking they're barely buddies.
Like I said, SNK isn't very fond of couples in their games.
