I joshed around on tumblr and in skype about playing through Final Fantasy 8 again and just drawing out random quotes and scenes with my arsehole Squall faces and then I just went and did it. I highly doubt I'll do a full playthrough but I'll keep going as long as it amuses me and I have time :'DI am currently not even an hour into the game so I can see a lot of skipping in scenes, don't expect me to tell a cohesive story, it's more for people who have played it, or people who don't care and just want to have a laugh with me

I've read these strips quite a few times by now and I must say, this one is definitely my favourite of the bunch. It is one of those precious, rare moments in the game when Seifer is brought down a peg or two. Don't get me wrong, I don't outright detest his character... But as a someone who has experienced bullying herself, you can easily see why I found his personality very unlikable when I played the game for the first time (even if Zell is -admittedly- very easy to provoke. But just because one can do something, doesn't automatically mean they should).
Aside from that, I'm gonna parrot the other commenters here and say that the way you draw expressions is simply hilarious. Gotta love the OOC Squall in the last panel :'D (as long as it's for a parody, I'm perfectly fine with OOC behavior, unlike when I'm reading a fanfic that should be taken very seriously >_>; ). Oh I'm sure he gloated alright, even in the game, but he did so internally while having his "Whateva" expression on.
You have a cute, personal style when it comes to drawing people. At times (like with Quistis in panels 1 & 3) it reminds me of Peanut comics or even the type of art one could see in children's books.
I know you said that the chances were you might not make it that far in the game, but even so, I'd love to see more scenes drawn in your style and featuring your sense of humor

And I understand the OOC thing, I try my best to not go too OOC for fanart as a personal gripe, but I wanted to exaggerate the characters and see how far I could push it XD In hindsight, this could also be funny with only Zell going nuts and Squall just standing there looking like he wants to kill someone XD I guess the main focus was Quistis aha.
The main thing that's stopping me from continuing is mostly that I have to sit down and play the game to do it :'D I don't have much time in my evenings to game AND draw sadly, I did all these during the holidays when I had plenty of time to do both, but I would really like to do some more, I know I will have time in April but we'll see what happens.
