Marty made me feel like practicing drawing old people again. Just gave it a fantasy twist to suit my current vibe~
I can see this faun as an old adventurer who left the safety of his forest to see the world and in his old age likes to share his unbelievable tales with other young adventurers who in turn will tell him all the things that they’ve seen and done, and then he’d be so happy knowing that there are many youngins who’ve seen things that he could only dream of because the world is ever changing and too big to explore in one fauns lifetime cB
I’ll think of a name for him, I’ve grown attached while drawing and thinking about his character now ahaha XD

Ah. I tend to get so emotional around old people, when they seem so full of life, yet you still seem how life have strained them.
You really seem to have captured this feeling, and though I originally imagined the adventures sitting around to be somewhat older, reading :dveseraphbriar:'s idea simply melted my heart.
It would just make such a lovely setting.

I have a huge soft spot for older characters though ;u; I don't have many myself but it was mostly because I wasn't too confident in drawing aged characters :'D

I love the life in his smile! I imagine that what we don't see is the ring of youngins sitting down around his feet, staring up in that wide-eyed way of children.
