I love how FFX-2 is all like “Use your imagination woooOOOOooo~” instead of making new character models for Lulu and Wakka :’D
I get why they did it but it’s still kind of funny, I affectionately laugh at these things, among many things with these games.
I still find these two to be an awkwardly cute couple. I feel this game just does shit and doesn’t give a single fuck, which is nice but dude, Wakka, your dead Brother was going to marry her, what’s up :’D

Honestly I think the only real iffy part about their relationship is that she dated his brother first, they have quite a few heart to heart moments where, with the benefit of hindsight, their relationship does make a little sense in the 'opposite attract/childhood friends' sort of way.
Also, we know that Chappu was going to propose, we don't know if Lulu would have said yes. Food for thought.

Hahaha. I remember playing that game for the first time and after hearing Lulu was pregnant, I just kept waiting to see if she'd get big... At first I was like "okay, it's early on... she's still skinny, whatever" Then all of a sudden we see the babe and it's like... but where was her belly? So far as I recall, she still had her freaking corset on XD

why why did we need a new character!? Payne always felt so unnecessary; i would have figgured Lulu would just whip Waka into becoming a stay-at-home dad while she went off on adventures. I so wanted X-2 to be a proper reunion - bleh!

I'm guessing the reason for Paine was to have a link to the other new characters that were part of the story, being Gippal, Baralai and Nooj, I didn't mind her but I honestly felt X-2 in general was rather unnecessary since I really enjoyed the bittersweet ending of X as it was :'D
I don't know about Lulu dumping the kid on Wakka and going off to adventure, I think I probably wouldn't feel too great about that if it happened too but eh :'D it's hard with sequels.

Kekekeke :'D it's very different from X but it's a very fun game, I always love changing job classes and dumb campy fun XD Although not going to lie, the intro really caught me off guard when I went from X to X-2 :'D Had no idea what to think ahaha.

They grew on me, too. Your work is really making me want to make some fanart--but for some reason, drawing characters that aren't mine proves incredibly difficult. I don't even know where to start really. I don't think there's anything wrong with references, there seems to be a stigma with some people but no, it helps to get a feel for poses or facial features or the way clothes fall on a person so sure, keep some on hand if you need them, it's good for learning, even pros use refs.
Ummmm, when I draw characters (When I'm not being incredibly lazy) I try and look at individual features so I can try avoid relying on hair and clothing to tell characters apart ;u; So like, facial features and stuff because I love changing up my characters clothes and hair often for my own amusement :'D
But yea, I'm big on faces ;u;

I feel like it would help a lot, too, but I was worried that it 'wasn't allowed'. Pfff. I wonder which one of the FFX Characters I should botch beyond repair draw. Ah, there's so many great ones. I can't think of one that isn't hopelessly attractive. Can we take a moment to appreciate the flawless hair of these characters. Please. They could go through a war and still have fantastic hair, I can't fathom it.
Yeah, I can tell that faces are really your area of expertise! They're a weakness of mine, admittedly. :/ I'm noticing that I have one particular style of drawing everything, which makes my work..boring? I'm trying to fix it, but it's pretty difficult. You'll get the hang of it, just draw lots and lots of faces, fanart could really help *u* I'm sure we all start out with fanart anyway ahaha *Used to draw so much FF in highschool, school books were full of it*
