Description
I was watching the original Star Wars and noticed how out of date the costumes and special effects were so I decided to make my own version of Darth Vader. I decided to make him look more like a samurai, since George Lucas based Star Wars on Hidden Fortress (a Japanese movie made in the 50's), and since obviously the wardrobe in Star Wars is Asian Influenced. This is cool, my only complaint is that he looks way too scrawny. Vader's a 6'9 mechanical nightmare, not an underfed high school student.

Too shiney. I'd honestly make him look more like a walking shell with little besides bones, motors, and his life support. And yet, he'd still look imposing by his shear height and he's prowse.

the problem is that this one looks like lean human, and original was somethings... big and seemingly unstoppoble you can say. It IS a good job but he looks more like minion than General.

Epic. Don't get me wrong, the original Vader is kick ass, but this could give him a run for his money. A good run. I like the red.

that is definatly an interesting looking Vader. I agree though you can tell his suit was designed with the 1970's mind set, bigger is better lol. But original Vader is still bad ass!

i love the picture, but hating your concept. i mean DARTH VADER out of date. dude, he may have old gear but he rocks like the beatles rocked the world of music, he doesnt need an update. And for the record that much red on darth vader makes him look like a pussy. but really ITS A GREAT PICTURE

interesting view. I would like this one, except that I think that the red should be a DARK gray, to stick to the original black theme, because darth doesn't want to stick out much... [not that you can in a giant suit of doom]

He looks like the rough draft of the Vader suit that they showed in the directors cut of Return of the Jedi.

I love the helmet! I'm not too sure about the red though....seeing the all black sillhouette of Vader coming out of the smoke at the beginning of Star Wars was....beautiful.

Awsome. If they were to remake the original trilogy (which probably won't happen until after all the people who worked on said films were dead), then this would be a kickass version of Vader. Though, in regards to the red, I feel that it should only be on the Imperial emblem, the helmet lenses, and the gloves. Still, a
