Sorcière (Sorceror), premiering from atop The Forbidden MountainCan't seem to get out of this Mucha x Disney phase! Not sure I ever want to! Anyways, this was inspired by one of my favourite Mucha works, "Lorenzaccio" [link] I wanted to create a poster for Maleficent, as if it was for her own feature film, or just for her
. Since I love the old red-concept art of Maleficent, I decided to pay respects to it, I love Maleficents' purple, but red would have been kick ass as well.The Mistress of all Evil belongs to Disney.

This is so moving. Maleficent has an almost sorrowful look about her. I spend a lot of time with her around Disney World and I had to tell you how beautiful your work was.

You incorporated two things that I REALLY like Alphonse Mucha art nouveau style and Maleficent. My husband showed this to me and I have to say this is breath-takingly good! I like the use of textures to give some age to it. I WISH I was as good at doing art like that.
