Description Set during the second chapter of my fanfic Deception, The Office of Naval Intelligence comes to collect Captain Vennettilli under suspicion of being an information leak regarding Chaos Emeralds.

Rouge the Bat, who has something close to an acquaintanceship with the Captain, feels as if she's being roped into this somehow and is not thrilled about doing this.

Is it just me, or does she seem a little guilty?

Actually, she's under government contract. She cannot withhold Chaos Emeralds either. Strangely enough, any other monetary sum is fair game.
