He's just so cute! He looks like he would squiggle about in some sort of floaty way. Did you use pallet knives? I'm so bad with using them. His eyes are awesome.

Oh, okay! Hmm, how do you get that effect with a brush? If you don't mind me asking, I've been teaching myself how to paint and I reeeeaaallly like that effect. But I don't have any oils yet! So maybe I can't do it with acrylics.

I started with an abstract object. I used lots of medium and different brushes.
Difficult to exlplain ... you should try painting something abstract and than search and search what comes out. I always use oils, never acrylics. Too fast drying. Oils stay wet and you can manipulate longer.

Really expressive... Its funny how you put an "eye" to an apparent random splat of paint and suddenly everything makes sense. We need a little dot of paint to tell us what to see. What would happen if it wasnt there?
