Very much a what-if scenario I came up with, after going back and doing the Extra Story Mode with Raven when I changed her mentor to Bardock.Since she's a lot like Goku and all, I figured it'd be interesting to have Elery be sent in by Elder Kai instead. So in this rare case, the friendly rivals we all know have a bit of a tense showdown for a change...
And this also ties in to the interaction done with , which had Elery go in as her student Nino's partner and loyally following when she took the changing history path of the Extra Story Mode. So it'd sorta be like a alternate version of the ending parts of that interactions. AS SUCH, I'll welcome a VERY SHORT but fairly prolonged interaction here based ENTIRELY off the ending for Extra Story Mode. And yes, Elery will of course end up going Ultra Instinct as well during the fight, so both Raven and Nino will have to dig deep here at that...

Itβs a massive funhouse!

Rose (Kid): *Squeals instantly* A funhouse, a FUNHOUSE!!
Elery: Wowie, look at the SIZE of that place! *Turns to her husband, two daughters and student, and gives them a big grin* Well, it might normally be intended for kids, but no harm in all of us going in to have some fun together, right?
Rose (Kid): Yea!! Let's go! *Giggles, already excited in going in herself too!*

Rose quickly springs into a sprint with Teen Daisy, and even Elery takes to a bit of a sprint herself. As they got closer and closer, it wasn't long before they all would notice- the funhouse wasn't JUST massive, it was themed too! And what better theme for it then-!

Krillin: Well, I'll be! Elery, Trunks, and Nino! Along with the kids!
Rose (Kid): Mr. Krillin!
Elery: And 18 together with Marron! *Smiles as she nods to the fellow couple and their own daughter* Looks like you guys also came to enjoy this huge Super Mario Bros-themed funhouse, ehh?
Krillin: You betcha! The games are challenging, but fun! And now, this funhouse allows for fans to embrace their inner plumber!
Sure enough, the group finally saw why the funhouse was so massive in size to begin with-!

Nino: Huh. Everything about this makes much more sense.

Elery: So the icons themselves huh? *Smiles at this*
Rose (Kid): Wow! The brothers are here?! *Squeals, and then notices who else* Oh!! So is Princess Peach and Daisy too!
Elery: She's right, look. *Nods to Princess Peace and Daisy each at the brother's side as well* And... hold the phone, BOWSER too?!!
Krillin: I know, right?! But giving they're best buddies with him of all people in Mario Kart, give or take...

Bowser: Hey, they always say keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Nino: True.

Elery: Heh... well, that certainly seems to be the case here then.
Peach: Absolutely! *Giggles and nods* From the moment we all pitched in to build this funhouse, lots of our fans have gotten a chance to experience what it's like being in Mario and Luigi's shoes.
Elery: Well, I guess we shouldn't waste anymore time then, ehh? Let's-a go!! *Pumps her fist with a big grin!*
Rose (Kid): Yea! *Giggles to this and pumps her own fist as well!*

Everyone enters a βpipeβ to begin the exploration.

Rose (Kid): Whoa! Look at us! *Giggles as the warp pipes appeared to be designed to automatically clothe visitors when they entered, for everyone now had a color of some kind to a shirt and cap they all wore with overalls! What's more, Rose's cap had a capital R on it for her name, said cap and shirt were a pink color (As even though Rose wears red and has purple/lavender hair, figured pink would fit for her. 
Elery: Wow, not bad colors! *Giggles as she looks at her cap and shirt, seeing they were a darker green then Luigi's, and of course for her, Teen Daisy and Rose, there was a hole in the back of the overalls for their tails to freely move behind them. Turning to see her husband, teenage daughter and Nino, they too had colors for their caps and shirts* (Reckon Trunks's would be an obvious color, and of course Nino's as well given that's your character. Daisy, even as a teen herself, wears a blue gi, so there ya go.

Nino: They matched our colors perfectly!
Trunks: Letβs Go exploring.
Daisy (Teen): Yeah!
Although Daisy got a foreboding feeling, she ignores it for now, not wanting to spoil the vacation. She can tell her mom later. (Foreshadowing for when youβre done with your break, and something to look forward to.

Elery nods as she holds Rose's hand and proceeds to do so. They spot simulated versions of some of Bowser's former minions, including Goombas and Koopa Troopas!
Elery: Time to hop then! *And to her pleasant surprise, when anyone in the group jumps, the signature jumping sound effect was heard!* Whoo! *Giggles as she then does a second higher jump, and finally SPRINGS high up into the air with a front flip, landing perfectly on one of the Goombas and squishing it down with a stomp!*

Daisy (Teen): BONK! (She stomps on a VR Koopa!)
Nino: Yahoo!
Trunks: Hah!

Rose (Kid): *Hops up underneath a ? block, and out pops a Starman!* Oooh! *Gets to it with another hop and-!* Yay! Invincibility!
Elery: And complete with the iconic music too! *Grins as she bobs her head to the beat while Rose runs at full speed to topple a row of VR Goombas, Koopas, and even some Piranha Plants too!*

Rose giggles as she stops to a halt right as the Starman effects wore off, right in front of a approaching Koopa!
But then Elery opens up another ? block, and a Fire Flower appeared!
Elery: !! *Grabs the Fire Flower and feels its effects change her clothes a bit to where-!*

A red aura encircles her, as she now is decked out in a greenish-White outfit! She had become Fire Elery!

Fire Elery: Alright! *Grins and sees the VR Koopa nearly onto Rose, but a simple swipe of her hand and a fireball knocks the enemy away from her!*
Rose (Kid): Thanks, Mama! *Giggles waving, spotting a row of other ? blocks* Ooh, maybe those have powerups for the rest of us!
Elery: I can't be the one to have all the glory with a powerup, after all! Go for it guys!
Rose moves right over with her father, big sister and Nino, and sure enough other ironic power-ups from the Super Mario Bros series appeared for each of them!
Rose herself got a fitting, adorable power-up; a Tanooki Suit that has the tail easily fit over her own tail, adding for more control over flight and attacks from said tail!

Fire Elery: Ha, nice! *Giggles and then blushes a bit when she sees Trunks in his Cat Suit power-up* Heh, so the adorable kitty of a husband, Tanooki youngest daughter, and teenage Hammer Bro daughter. *Smirks giggling to this before seeing Nino in her Penguin Suit*
Kid Rose (Tanooki): Tee hee! Penguin suits you well, Miss Nino! *Giggles as she wiggles her tail to this* And if this is the Tanooki Suit.. *Sure enough, she uses the suit's special ability to turn into a stone stature temporary, enemies passing right by her without causing her any damage!*
Fire Elery: Nice! *Then sees the enemies advancing on Nino, but smirks as she sees ice forming in the flippers of her suit!*

Penguin Nino: FREEZE!
Cat Trunks: Haaaaaaah! Cat Scratch Fever! (He slashes the frozen enemies with cat claws!)

Fire Elery then assists with any others that remain by throwing more fireballs. Tanooki Rose then emerges from her stone stature form and swats a few more with her tail for good measure!
Fire Elery: There's the flag just ahead, I can see it!
Rose (Kid): I got it! *Takes a full running start, her P-Meter rising gradually and once it reaches the maximum, she takes to the air with a HUGE leap!* WHEEEEEEE!! *Perfectly hits the top of the flag post from there, a signature 1UP appearing with its distinct sound effect!*

Hammer Sister Daisy: Hah!

And Fire Elery jumps up to the pole last, signaling the stage's completion! Sliding down with everyone else to drop the flag, she then tips with her own cap for the victory motion! (AKA the one taunt Mario has in Super Smash Bros, where he'll twirl in place while taking off his cap momentarily.
Fire Elery: Nice jumps, everyone! Alright, next stage, here we come!
Rose (Kid): Let's-a go! *Giggles as she takes a small hop while spinning a full 360 a few times*

(And yea, as I'm sure ya saw with the status post I put up last night, a little later today Whitney and I are going to see Godzilla: King of the Monsters. So I'm making a brief appearance for a change right here, and will be back on later tonight for a few review of the movie, plus another extra pic I decided to do regarding Elery and her parents.

Fire Elery: Nice, complete with the classic music too. *Smirks as she nods her head to the beat for a moment (Likely something like this;Β www.youtube.com/watch?v=r549f1β¦Β ), before noticing small blue-shelled VR enemies moving in towards the group* Alright, ready guys?
Rose (Kid): *Was already wiggling her tail, as if ready to smack one of the approaching enemies with it, a big smile on her face*Β

Hanmer Sister Daisy: Hammer time!

Fire Elery: *Quickly forms fire within both her hands* Oh yeah! *Then shoots forth two big fireballs at once!* HYAAAAAAAAAAAH!! (Should be obvious what Elery just used there, lol.

Fire Elery: Course, can't let you guys have all the fun ether, ehh? *Giggles and nods*
Kid Rose (Tanooki): Tee hee, of course Mama! HYAH! *Swats a VR Koopa with her tail, flipping the shell onto its top end!* !! Ooh! *Grabs the shell and shoots it forward, hitting a line of VR enemies in a row!*
Fire Elery: Nice one, sweetie! And... *Sees the shell hit a wall and come flying right back to the group!* Ha! *Easily jumps over it, as does Rose too*

Hammer Sister Daisy: Wah-ha! Close one!

Fire Elery: *And seeing the shell then fall harmlessly into a bottomless pit behind them, she nods* Alright, that's that.
Up ahead, there was a big surprise awaiting the group; a series of blocks that housed a mega collection of the Mushroom Kingdom's most infamous currently from the games; the classic Star Coins!!
Fire Elery: Wow, look at all those coins! *Smiles* Well, since we're all a team here, I reckon we would be able to split it all up between each of us.
Rose (Kid): Yea, so we all have enough to go around. *Giggles nodding in agreement* Looks like there's about... 100 coins there. So maybe 20 for each person?

Daisy (Teen): Sounds about Fair to me.
Penguin Nino: Ready...Set...COLLECT!

And in a flash, everyone got their 20 coins each, counting each one they collected closely so the others got their share soon after.
Fire Elery: Alright, we got em all! And it looks like we'll be able to actually use these coins later, not just keep them here in this VR world, to purchase things in the gift shop. Clever.
Tanooki Rose (Kid): Yay! *Giggles and nods to the next area* Looks like the green pipes that'll take us back up to the surface are just ahead. Let's go!

And make their way up the surface of the stage, the flag post in sight!
Fire Elery: Daisy, since Rose got the last one, you can have this one if you want.
Tanooki Rose (Kid): Yea, Big Hammer Sis! Go for it! *She even extends her tail to HS Daisy (Short for Hammer Sister Daisy) to give her a instant spring boost to the top!*

She springs up and grabs the top of the flagpole!
Hammer Sister Daisy: BOOYAH!

Fire Elery: Nice one! Alright, all together now! *Grins giving a thumbs up as she hops on the flag as well with the others, completing the second stage! From there, she turns as a hologram of Princess Peach herself appears before the group*
Peach (Hologram): Congratulations on clearing the two stages of our Super Mario Bros Virtual Reality Simulation! There's just one more stage to complete, and then the final boss will be waiting for you! Good luck!
Tanooki Rose (Kid): And I'd be willing to bet... seeing the spiky looking castle off in the distance... *Points to such*
Fire Elery: Oh, yea... it can't be a virtual reality simulation... without a big upcoming boss fight with the Koopa King himself! So the 3rd and final stage before the boss fight is-!

(And by classic of course, I mean N64 classic. So when the VR Bowser comes along, no doubt that'll come into play as well. 
Fire Elery nods as she lets her husband go first, and nods to Nino, Daisy and Rose as well, to where the group make their way to the VR Bowser's Castle for the third stage! Once they entered the castle itself, the infamous obstacles of the castle now loomed before them!

Tanooki Rose (Kid): Got it. *Nods as she holds her big sister's hand as she was told*
Fire Elery: Alright, as Nino said... stick together, and whatever ya do, ALWAYS make sure to not touch that lava! Even with this VR simulation, it'll still no doubt be just as dangerous as the real thing. Same for those fireballs that leap up out of it and those fire bars too. Ready... GO!!

Everyone advances quickly, but carefully. However, Daisyβs grip starts to slip, and soon...!
Hammer Sister Daisy (Teen): N-No...! I canβt hold on anymore! Rose!

Tanooki Rose (Kid): A-Ahh!! *And finally, her grip on her big sister's hand slips, and she starts to tumble towards a pool of lava in-between two platforms-!*
Fire Elery: !! ROSE!! *But in just the nick of time-!*

Penguin Nino: Gotcha! (She grabs Roseβs hand and manages to safely get her to a nearby platform.)

Tanooki Rose (Kid): Whew! Thanks, Miss Nino! *Wipes her brow*
Fire Elery: Good catch, Nino. *Nods to Daisy and Trunks* Ya held on as long as ya good, Daisy. Nice job. *Smiles before pressing onward, and finally reaching the big iron doors at the end of the level* And there it is... the doors leading to the big boss fight for last! And who'd better for it to be then a VR simulated version of!

Fire Elery: *Gets a good feel of the battle area they were on to battle the VR version of Bowser* Hey... what do ya know? This music, this stage... it's an awful lot like Mario and Bowser's classic fight in the 64 Mario game!
Tanooki Rose (Kid): Ooh! Wasn't that where Mario would grab and swing Bowser by the tail in a full circle?! We've GOT to try that here! *Giggles as she prepares for battle herself too!*
Fire Elery: Oh yea, it's on now! *Grins as she readies herself too* Let's-a go, Koopa King!
