As Elery's battle with Nappa intensified, she continued to try and make peace with Nappa, but too filled up with rage, Nappa tries to kill her, leaving Elery little choice but to finish Nappa off, with a powerful original energy wave she calls the Omega Blaster.But as both Elery and Goku corner their opponents, Vegeta realizes there's only one other option left for him and Nappa, and soon prepares a Power Ball...

Yea, it's in the next part, where Vegeta uses it to help himself and Nappa turn into Great Apes. If Elery had looked up at it she too would have become one, but luckily she doesn't and is still able to fight off both Great Apes with Goku.

Yup. Of course she will eventually make use of her own Great Ape form, but that's not till much later in her adventures.
And because she had gained the other Super Saiyan transformations up to SSJ3, we all know what will happen from her changing into a Great Ape. She advances to the next level of Super Saiyan after 3.
