The first thing I said when I looked at this was OMFG this looks sick. I truly love this type of art and I love the graphics, this is a great piece of Sci-Fi art. Second thing that I noticed was the clouds, the clouds look outstanding and perfect to me, I feel as if I am in a giant ocean of clouds and a storm just erupted of fire and light. Also the fire where the spacecraft is coming out of really gives the mood of action I should say. Overall I think this is an outstanding piece of art and I can't wait to see more.

This artwork is amazing in so many ways, but I especially like how all the lines in the clouds lead you into the centre, where the contrast between the dark clouds and the fiery red makes it even more spectacular.
Also, this piece really reminds me of the song Farewell Rocketship by Children Collide.

Awesome look! Congratulations!
My sole question is:why this spacecraft and the people on the side, are leaving their planet this way?

It's somewhat a romantic thing and maybe symbolic and has nothing to do with logic.
They are leaving the darkness, the dull world under the thick clouds covering the planet like an ocean, heading straight to the light - a symbol of new adventures and discoveries. And the clouds trying to catch them on their way out and pull back into darkness symbolize the feeling of fear for changes, the people there know that they can stay at home and don't risk anything but still want to experience something unknown and dangerous.
Hope this didn't make you even more confused, and thank you
