i like how the castles gradually descends, makes the final spire look like a wall... in 3D i'd see this as being a circular castle that has it's gate at the lowest point. Solid work, awesome colouration

Ah...I don't recall you doing this one, but the colors on this one came out a LOT better than the one you were doing of the creepy castle originally. Both of them still ended up looking fantastic, as if one is in the parallel universe of the other~

The fascinating part about your work is that it is so SIMPLE. And yet by, in a sense, playing with the human eye, make very vague shapes appear to be very specific things. In the youtube video for this, in the middle section to the left you squished it. Initially, I wondered: Why did he do that? But then I realized that it didn't particularly matter if it was "Squished" or how detailed it was. The point was that it was a rough, barren plain between the foreground and the castle. And it was just as effective as going in and spending an hour on that part alone. I can do things like this if I have a reference image or two, but can you just do this out of your own brain? That's a gift, my friend.
