An amazing digital painting by ChrisCold, "The Changing Land" appears to be about a man who has stumbled upon an amazing landmark in a mysterious land. As consistent with all of Chris' work, the theme is well thought and clear while giving a creepy atmosphere and idea behind the entire piece.
The colors and lighting of this piece are very well-executed. Considering how hard digital painting is, me and several other artists know how hard these two concepts are to achieve. There are obviously several more elements than the two I mentioned, but they are so well done that you don't even have to "look and see what's wrong".
The whole piece will certainly capture the eye of any who stumbles upon this piece, whether it be on deviantART or another website. Great work, ChrisCold.

Amazing, it's looks like a volcanic ball is about to explode....
Colors are awesome and the person looks mystified/horrified as to what will transpire.

b.e.a.utiful! everything from color to the body language of the nameless hero are perfect. maybe try swtiching from a monotone scheme to a two or three color one. try it out maybe a little dull yellow or purple haze

I love that it looks iridescent, like an underwater bubble of air.

THIS is Awesome!!! IT kinda reminds me of an explosion from evangelion if you know what i mean. Like the moment before the actual explosion. Anyways, great work, i love the lighting.

Pretty scary looking actually. Looks like something huge and demonic tht's also in severe pain as it melts away from the inside very eye-catching though, especially the colour

I like that the prominent figure is almost lost in the grand scope of astonishment.
