This is an antipode to my work "Heart of the Universe"Oh, and I already uploaded WPs (1600x1200 and 1440x900... and now also with 1920x1200 resolution!!!), so you can download it.

I don't see why you should stop making clouds. This is your style, and you're good at it. Avoiding it intentionally is pointless. You can make other stuff, but if you ever feel like painting in this style that's fine too, no?

I won't stop, it just feels like I've already overused this technique. I extremely need some innovations. Dunno maybe my new collabs will help to get some ideas.

The asteroid was rendered in 3ds Max, a bit overpainted, but only some texture fixes.

in 3d studio ?!. I have it but I cant make such an incredible asteroid like yours. the texture looks so real O.o

Dunno, i don't think it's very difficult to make stones. Like my piece [link] , the whole scene is actually in 3d, just overpainted in PS.
