Noticing the white "halo" around the lineart, I'm assuming you're deleting the white from the scanned lineart before coloring, right?

Well, it may be easier (it's definitely faster) to just set the layer to "multiply" in the blend modes for Photoshop, and then coloring under it is quick and easy. However, this doesn't work for colorholds if you decide to use those, but you didn't in this piece so it would have definitely benefited from being set to "multiply". In fact, I'm pretty sure you could set it to that right now and lose all those fragmented white pixels around the art.
