Description Honestly, I was just doodling dragons to practice poses; I always feel like my dragon poses are too generic. I guess I found one I liked.

the hind legs kinda look awkward for any reptilian... thinking about bones and muscles... how they move, otherwise i can totally see what texture it is....

btw, did you use a tablet?

I should add that the design was never intentionally toward a creature that walks primarily on legs, hence my placing him on a loft near 'crowsnests' as a bird might perch -- They are talons meant for reaching forward and fetching prey. It isn't to say that he couldn't walk on the ground, but he's primarily a flyer.

Huh? A horse's hind wouldn't work on this one. Was going for something a bit stocky and muscular, like a tiger's body.

The beauty of dragons is that you can get creative with them. There are over a hundred different ways to do them and physiques to give them. Very few actually wind up looking like any reptile on earth today (most which have long bodies, small limbs and crawl close to the ground.)

I did use a tablet, btw.

the reason why I prefer Eastern dragons, although Western dragons can be creative as well...
