Growing up, every young girl's dream is to be whisked away by a "knight in shining armour" ...At least, that's what "they" say. I don't know about you, but boys were the last thing on my mind when I was growing up. Nor did I care for dolls, and I didn't have my entire wedding planned out by the age of six. (Are you kidding? I couldn't even plan one out before the day I was actually going to have one!) I didn't want a knight to come to my rescue ... I wanted to be a knight.
Hah ... What I'd give to have that kind of innocent disposition, again. Anymore, I think it will take a warrior to win my heart.
Ah, well. I also loved playing in the rain and looking for weird bugs and stuff. At least some things don't change.
By the way, this was shot last September at the Pittsburgh Rennfest. It's one of the only jousting shots I could manage without a crowd of 21st century onlookers sporting a bad fashion sense in the background.

It's the 21th, and they started in the 20th, and they were around long before that. I'm very familliar with the idea of that. It's practiced as a true cult by people who really believe this, within and outside of satanism and witchcraft, and ... yeah. I don't doubt some level of demonic influence.

Anyway, I was actually talking about (which you wouldnt have known since I didnt make myself clear) was the horse and rider. The horse's rear (along with the knight) look almost 3D'ish. Something like a high quaility computer game (I should know, gaming was my life for many years). I like it and think their beautiful. Did you use photoshop to beef up the Hue, Saturation, Value of the colors or use an other neat little toy on the program?
