In Homer's Iliad, the multinational and multilingual Trojan army "materializes" in front of the walls of Troy as an unruly mob - a patchwork of various uniforms and peoples ...Then led by their leaders (who ride in two-horse chariots) to a specific gathering point near the Greek camp are lined up with more discipline. Homer usually describes faintly the native Trojans as wearing conical helmets, using round or oblong shields, spears and "Thracian" swords. More will be said on that subject in future daviations.
