Thanks! I was experimenting with the background and found out that if I took a picture of the Aperture logo being displayed on an LCD monitor slightly off-center it gave me a horizontal banding effect. It was just too bland when transferred directly to the phone. Unfortunately, you can't see the effect all that well in this picture because of the lighting in the office and the angle the picture was taken at.
