No Guard: Any attacks used by and on this Pokemon will never miss.Dynamic Punch: The user punches the target with full, concentrated power. It confuses the target if it hits.
So I recently discovered that Machamp is amazing. I was wondering how exactly this ability ensured that all of both pokemon's attacks would land successfully though. Maybe it goes something like this? Using all four of its arms to pin the opponent rather than for defensive purposes, the Machamp draws the victim in for an unavoidable, point blank dynamic punch.
I never really thought about it before, but having two extra limbs would pretty much make you amazing at any combat sport by default. Also being a gigantic steroid monster helps. Best fighting type!

I always thought that it was because since Machamp has four arms and each moves independently, he could literally strike you from every direction so there's no direction the opponent could dodge.

Just a question. Is that red stuff blood on the Machamp's fist? If it is, I don't see blood on the Hitmonlee. I hope that isn't blood on the Machamp's fist... D:
My main beef with Dynamicpunch is that it has too few PP, not to mention that you can only increase it up to 7 or 8 PP. D: Ergh, I wonder if PowerUp Punch would be a better alternative? O_o My Machamp knows Ice Punch, Quick Guard, Bullet Punch, and DynamicPunch. >< I need to find more PP Ups in X/Y, they're so hard for me to get...D: But I do have a ton of Heart Scales that I've amassed since I hardly ever need them. I also have no issues getting money in the game. But in X/Y, money can't buy PP Up, only Pokemiles...I wish there was a way to purchase Pokemiles in Pokemon X/Y. ><

Naaah, it's not blood, just a glowy effect I thought looked cool at the time that I decided to use to represent dynamic punch.
I'm not sure though, to my knowledge machamp still runs the same set he has in the past; the core dynamicpunch/icepunch/bulletpunch + a coverage filler like payback or stone edge. I'm not sure what you would replace it with, the no guard synergy + guaranteed confusion + hitting something extremely hard is difficult to pass up, and the 8pp should be mostly sufficient for what machamp does. The lack of pp items is really really annoying though, definitely.

Wow, this is really awesome. But I would rather get Machamp by leveling up other than trading. It would be easier. But I guess that's why they did that, they didn't want an over powered PokΓ©mon be easy to get. Well. This is very awesome.

Thanks! Yeah the evolution by trade thing never made a lot of sense to me, haha. I feel like it might be better if they did away with it, prevent people from getting a level 16 alakazam and just running through the games. Oh well, it doesn't really matter anyways.

This ended up looking really nice. Its a bit dark I think, but I like the way how you tuned his leg into like a stretched phone cord. I cant remember if that was in the original sketch you showed me r if thats something new. Hitmonlees expression is priceless.. Something about Machamps face bothers me tho and I cant quite place my finger on it. I think it has something to do with his eye, could use a bit of highlight to bring it out a bit more.
Also small nitpick: Never seen a ring, wrestling, boxing or MMA with 4 ropes

It wasn't until recently that I figured out that this ability existed... Until then, I was always so confused as to why some machop/machoke/machamp were hitting me while my pokΓ©mon was in the sky part of a fly attack. SO VERY CONFUSED.
