Day 6: Most terrifying PokemonDefinitely would have gone with Weezing for this one if I hadn't already done a painting for it already, but oooh well.
I dunno if "terrifying" would be an accurate description for shedinja, but the fact that it just weirdly appears in your party after nincada evolves into ninjask coupled with its dex entries (most of which talk about how it never moves, describe it as a floating hollow undead husk, and claim that if you try to look inside of it through the opening in its back, it will suck your soul out) makes it pretty damn creepy to me. WHAT IS IT, WHY IS IT HERE, WHAT DOES IT WANT.

It's actually based on the cicada's ability to shed it's old skin (Nincada is based on them) and the theme "Guardian Angel." Like when nincada evolves it sheds it's old skin and the husk is Shedinja, it's old husk will forever protect it....i'm not sure if that helps but that explains why it's there X'D

cute? ive had nightmares of being surrounded by that thing, all of them showing their backs to me and inside theres another one and THAT one has its backs to me and it waz just creepy.

Reading the pokedex is full of creepy shit, so much of it

That soul hole is genius indeed.At least Shedinja is totally harmless if you don't look at that hole.

And I think this is the best part of this challenge,checking all those creepy Pokedex entries out

Yeah. xD I would be much more frightened of a horrible volatile floating poisonous tumor with a face. Or faces, in Weezing's case. They always seem to appear in terrible places too, the Cinnabar manor ruins, Burned Tower etc. I know if I was wandering around some dark derelict building the last thing I would want to see is one of THEM careening out of the gloom at me.
And yeah, definitely. Some of them are really awful, I was going to do Yamask or Gengar, but I am pretty sure those have been done by a lot of people already lol.

And they always appear in hot places (insert Mt. Chimney here) which makes them easier to explode.
Yamask's entry is made of win.It's a whole different issue.

Well this rendition of it definitely fits "terrifying." (and the darkness coming from the crack of its shell is genius in my opinion)

Hah, thanks, glad to hear that! I was trying to figure out how to implement the "soul hole", if you will, in a side view like this and wasn't sure if what I ended up with was effective or not.
