i am giving it a shot every time i think i am done with the story, i think of something to add
thats a good thing from what i hear from others who have written books...you never want to run out of ideas..i know i wont

erziban In reply to chrisntheboat [2009-05-05 06:53:27 +0000 UTC]

That's wonderful. I like to write, but I tend to poetry rather than prose... My writing tends to become sophmoric when I try to write a story.

chrisntheboat In reply to erziban [2009-05-05 15:15:35 +0000 UTC]

my writing is more like infant writing, but i have a great proofreader who helps me with the correct verbage and punctuation*
there is more to it than i thought..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

erziban In reply to chrisntheboat [2009-05-05 23:40:13 +0000 UTC]

I have the verbiage and the punctuation down; just don't have the patience to get in-depth about anything! My writing would be as superficial as a five year olds.

Don't make me laugh! I like to believe if I tried to write that is would be more than written vomit... but who knows, I might be puttin' on airs.

chrisntheboat In reply to erziban [2009-05-06 14:39:25 +0000 UTC]

what i try to write, is easy to read, i am trying to appeal to the 14 year old age group for the comic, and 25-45 demographic for the book..and the proof reader helps me, so i dont put wrong words in the same sentence but it has been fun polishing up on my English

erziban In reply to chrisntheboat [2009-05-07 05:21:44 +0000 UTC]

Are you hand writing your manuscript? Or have you got typing cramps? I have been taking skillbuilding to increase my speed and accuracy on the keyboard, and I swear it can cramp my hands into claws if I work in the lab too long.

chrisntheboat In reply to erziban [2009-05-07 14:39:24 +0000 UTC]

i write some, but use a talk and type program that has my voice down to a tee..so i can speak pretty fast and it keeps up then i print the page and read through it.it is a long process for me
sometime i am to tired from work to write so i will sit at my desk a talk for an hour at the screen.. have a nice day!

erziban In reply to chrisntheboat [2009-05-07 23:23:53 +0000 UTC]

chrisntheboat In reply to erziban [2009-05-08 04:25:09 +0000 UTC]

no, i like to talk to myself.......alot

erziban In reply to chrisntheboat [2009-05-08 06:39:06 +0000 UTC]

As he walks around his house, past his open windows, chattering away to no one in particular... sounds a little psycho to me Chris!!! Just kidding. I used to work at a place where one of the bosses had the really small headset phone on all the time. He walked all over the lab, chatting away out loud. Made everyone crazy because we could never tell if he was talking to us or to the phone.
