Thank you very much I havent been able to do very much on Da myself recently due to having to to open nights at my school and just generally coursework! xD And I put it down to just getting used to Inkscape! :3 And I've just noticed a small mistake that I will have to correct at some stage! xD I have yet to create something as original as your pieces but when I get a more sizable amount of free time I shall have to sit down and do a proper piece!

Just an astute aside: read in association with your unhappy Dash avatar it kinda affects the tone of the comment.

Thats my avatar because when I was looking for something to vector my friend was having trouble with his desktop, me and another friend told him his motherboard was the problem, while he insisted screws were the problem and this image of dashie perfectly showed how I felt at the time xD
But it does kinda affect the tone of what ever I say xD kinda adds a sarcastic element to most of my comments xD

Heh... yep.

As for "computer issues", tell me about it! I'm still recovering from some mysterious accidental sequence of touch-screen touching that lost me a big chunk of a story I'm writing.

That look woulda worked well for me too at the time.

well there isnt much more to tell! He's sent it off to have it looked at, not trusting either of his friends who have built many pcs and had to troubleshoot them many times :L
How is the story going? (minus the fact that you lost a big chunk) and whats it about? if you dont mind me asking :3

It's a MLP fic that picks up after one already up called "Time Turner and the Talented Pony" leaves off (which takes place in Appleloosa after Over a Barrel).

In my journal the title is presently "Time Turner and To Be Announced" but T.B.A. is "the Ghost Horses" or maybe "the Ghost Horses in the Sky".

These aren't Doctor Hooves fics as I try to deal with Timer Turner somewhat differently as a "Time Pony" who is aware of two different sorts of time -- "Ponytime" experienced alike by ponies and all living creatures and "Thingtime" which governs the likes of clocks or other non-magical machines -- where most ponies are only aware of Ponytime (these two different times nominally happen together; but, they don't have to being something of the idea).

The writing was going pretty well and it is again ... I've recovered most of what was lost over the last week. Basically that puts me in good shape to write the final chapter and what have you.

I'd say you've done a great job here, although id say Daring's face seems kinda misshaped, and id add so wind lines from the lion tiger thing.

Nice work!
Just as a tip, when Inkscape flattens out curves like that, go back and add a new node in there between to two that you have. (Double click on the curve)
Re-export and the problem should be fixed.

No problem!
I just started using Inkscape in September and had that happen all the time until someone else on here told me how to fix it.
Least I can do is pass it on.
Thanks for the llama, though!

Yeah, that's one of those weird quirks that you have to get used to when you use a free program.

Yeah, I used GIMP for a little bit before Inkscape, but I never got all that good with it.

Does gimp actually export proper vectors?

Nope, and that's the main reason that I switched over to Inkscape.
