Description
Spring-heeled Jack is a character in English folklore of the Victorian era who was known for his startling jumps. The first claimed sighting of Spring-heeled Jack was in 1837.[1] Later sightings were reported all over England and were especially prevalent in suburban London, the Midlands and Scotland.[2]There are many theories about the nature and identity of Spring-heeled Jack. This urban legend was very popular in its time, due to the tales of his bizarre appearance and ability to make extraordinary leaps, to the point that he became the topic of several works of fiction.

I still remember when "World Heroes 2" by SNK came out and they had the character on there named Jack, who was this tall punk with Freddy Kruger-like claws on both hands.
He was supposed to be inspired as a combination of Jack the Ripper and Spring-Heeled Jack. Really unique design too.

First off... wonderful picture. I'd say 8.5 out of 10.
But to me this is one, if not my absolute favorite depiction (other than the old Penny Dreadfuls) of Spring Heeled Jack and you captured the very idea of what this creature would have been like at the time. This is a menace... This is a monster... but exactly is it? Is it human, is a demon, or even an alien?
For this aspect I would honestly say 11.5 out of 10. And deserves a favorite.
And if I may... can I use this as any reference to future projects of mine?
Keep up the good work!

Do you think that spring heeled jack may have been the inspiration of batman? And a little bit of superman?
