Description
I'm getting some promotional stuff together for New York Comic Con and realized I never uploaded this to DA.Its sort of like Planet of the Apes, except instead of damn dirty apes they are damn dirty goblins. And they are samurais. Sweet.

Thanks! I wouldn't be too happy breaking rocks for alien goblins either.

Sir, you are oficially filled with awesome. BTW, I see that you're east coast; my pops was from Brooklyn, and I was just in Baltimore a few weeks ago.

Haha. Yeah I'm through a borough and across the river in New Jersey. I have not been to Baltimore since I was on a class trip in 8th grade and our English teacher took us to lunch at Hooters because she thought the owl was cute. But from what I remember it seems like it would be a fun city, despite awkward childhood memories.

I wanted to take my wife and kid to Charm City Cakes (from tv), but it was like a little fortress. I hadn't been back in the DC area in 30 years. Yeah, Pops grew up in south Ozone Park in Queens, and got his law degree from St. Johns. He went to John Adams high school, and graduated there in 1947. I still love how he showed me his old neighborhood while he was still alive. I don't know them, but I've still got some distant relatives out on Long Island. BTW, I'm in Indianapolis here.

Ah very cool. So have you been to GenCon then? Yeah I like the area here, it is convenient for right now, but I eventually plan on heading to Maine or Nova Scotia.

I've been to GenCon several times, but it can get mucho costy. I sort of got "stranded" here in Indy in 1977; my growing up was split up between Cincinnati and Phoenix. I'm considering going to ComicCon in SD next year, if I can swing it - I really want to meet the voice actors from Futurama if I can.

very interesting ^^ it reminds me a lot of things, like the way Elves and humans were tortured to become Orcs

Thanks, yeah Tolkien was really good with writing social commentary into his fantasy work. Sometimes it seems the way people treat one another is difficult to comprehend without a filter.

It's really well done. Are those bony protrusions on the horse, or is that just how its mane is styled?

Thanks! Its a braided/knotted mane, doesn't read that way? I guess the color might be throwing it.

It makes sense; but in different settings, one can never be sure.

Very true. I fear technology more for this reason than for its imminent takeover of the human race. Robots don't hold a candle to different monitor settings.

I, uh... had actually been referring to sci-fi/fantasy settings, rather than monitor ones.

oh haha... I thought you meant different settings as in things look different on everyones' computers. Accounting for different colors, varying sharpness, etc. Makes sense. But i see where you're coming from.
