Her laughter was so sublime and pure, bouncing along the brooks and threading amongst the trees and brush- so innocent despite her deadly disposition. It came to my ears as a bounty and an honour; only an iron heart could do anything but walk willingly amongst those boughs and immerse oneself in her river bed. Now I feel myself drifting- borne away on a tittering current not at all hungry for that last gulp of air.
