Another one of my marker commissions, this time of an obscure cartoon show from the 60's called Frankenstein Jr.Frankenstein Jr. and the Impossibles © Hanna-Barbera

Ive never seen anyone do this kind of work with a marker. May I please ask, what are you using? prismacolor, copic, ect. Paper designed for marker use? pro white, acrylic white? I must know!!

its impressive man, looks like it could have been done in painter. Ive been watching you for a long time now, you seem to get better and better with natural media. Even Tim Townsend gives you props, so thats an accomplishment in its own.
I might try to mess around with one of these pieces as a warm up, I hope you dont mind

I totally remember this show!(I'm Dating myself here) It was one of many obscure super hero-style cartoon characters from Hanna-Barbera.
Look up those old cartoons on you tube.
Some of them were kinda cool.

This is so great! I do remember the Robot being much taller though. But the artwork and feel is spot on. So wonderful.

I luv'ed this when I was little. Instant Classic. I don't think I have every seen marker used so effectively before to capture a mood.

There's a very Gigantor vibe to this, probably because of the black-and-white presentation, and because Frankenstein Jr. was something of a rip-off of Gigantor (imitation being the sincerest form of flattery).
