Description
A revisioning of a classic cover. I tried to talk Ben into doing #3, but no sale. Oh well, he's aces in my book and I was happy to do this one. I zoomed in a bit on the figures and it's cropped more than the original, but it still keeps the vibe of it I think. Trying to do justice to a John Buscema cover is virtually impossible, but it was fun trying.Prismacolor and Copic with watercolor paint on vellum bristol board.

Fanastic shape and form, especially on Thor. The background has really nice subtle variety and texture too. Not a giant fan of the close-cropped composition, but it's still an amazing image. It's crazy how smooth you got gradients on the Surfer's board. Aye verily!
