Description
This was a fun one. Both guys have that healing factor thing so it's cool to have two guys impaling each other.Wolverine and Deadpool copyright Marvel..or Disney..whichever...man, that sounds wrong.

Ni ni ni ni... Not as good as DC.
Great picture, by the way. Erm... which one was Deadpool? I get so confused with these "powers with people" thing. If they develop their characters, maybe i'd be more interested.
WATCHMEN RULES!!!

Heh..well, it's actually nice to see a hardcore DC fan now and then. Marvel fanboys are legion these days. I'm one of them, though Bats is my favorite character.
I actually can't tell you all that much about Deadpool. Haven't read much of him, but he is a fun character.

I mean... i don't even get what Deadpool is. I do watch ItsJustSomeRandomGuy's Youtube videos, which are about Marvel vs. DC... (My favorite being the one where he compares Watchmen and Wolverine... and Watchmen came out on top! Errr, i mean Rorschach came up over Deadpool. that was cool and funny. extremely funny...)
At first i thought Deadpool was the brother guy, then someone told me, no, Sabertooth is Wolvy's brother. Which doesn't make sense for the first XMen where they didn't know each other, but whatevs.
So who is Deadpool according to the movie?

awesome battle, it should have been like this in the movie. I don't think much is gonna change. Disney has R rated videos so all the adult comics might mellow a little but not much.

I still haven't seen the film, but I could imagine that it wouldn't look like this hehe.
I agree that the content from Marvel won't change much if at all.

IS that blood coming out the back of Deadpool or did he just lose his grip on his sphincter?))
Great artwork.

Disney now OWNS Marvel and everything Marvel owns. What this means for artists and fans remains to be seen, but it's probably not going to be for the better IMO.

aww shit.....well, as long as there aint no disney - marvel crossovers(unless its the HULK stomping on mickey), and as long as the violence doesnt get lowered to "disney movie" level im sweet.....although..apocolypto was a pretty violent disney movie...

just remember: u will never see wolvie smokin again in a book, so treasure the memories! marvel already had a no smokin code, and u can be sure disney wont play that shit. so, hopefully, they will still aloow the smoking of bullets out of guns

Beautiful piece, absolutely love Deadpool, you did him absolute justice. I consider it to still be Marvel as the characters were created by them. Until they start making characters between Disney and Marvel, Marvel will be Marvel.

your talking about a guy who has occasional feral fits vs a man who has at least 3 seperate voices in his head and seems to be aware that he inhabits the pages of a comic book lol. I do believe DP has this one in the bag

I'd say it's marvel cuz they created the characters. I like the shading and how in parts in actually does seem unreal. nice work.

Marvel/Disney sounds wrong because it is wrong.
What is Disney about either of these guys?!
Comics Code Authority all over again I fear...
Comics aren't for kids, they're at their best when not for kids.

I fear the taking away of the grownup ones in order to be "Family Oriented"

Wolverine's healing is stronger. The only method to possibly kill wolverine would be to cut of his head (only a maybe).
Deadpool is a bit easier to kill (i.e., grenade, crushed by rubble, hit by flying car, etc)
nice!

Gyr633 In reply to ThEfLyInGpUrPlEhIpPo [2009-09-03 00:10:49 +0000 UTC]
NO way!
it is actually quite equal.
(i.e. Wolverine origins, vol. 5eadpool, and cable & Deadpool vol. 1 & 3, AND deadpool; secret invasion.)
Check those out, and as a matter of fact deadpool has his brains LITERALLY blown out of his skull, in Cable and Deadpool vol. 1, quite a few times. Also, that is plausable, because they are equal, i.e. X-men Origins; Wolverine, where wolverine is shot in the head with an adamantium bullet, and lives, and deadpool gets his head cut off, and lives,(at the end, after all the credits...There were two different alternative endings though, so my point is only plausible if you saw the deadpool one.), and also they are making a deadpool movie...Which is placed AFTER the wolverine movie.
ALSO, my final refence, is that deadpool is turned into goop in cable and deadpool vol. 1, and his healing factor makes him human again. HA! lol, sorry for my super nerdy reference...I'm just a super huge deadpool fan, and im not trying to necesarilly prove you wrong...but instead inform you.

Deadpool only lives because his head is put back on.
You're right though, I made a mistake on deadpools part.
I'm pretty big on comics too
Runaways is my fav.
Wolverines is still better. Like, he survived a nuclear bomb at point blank. all of his tissue (except brain cuz protected by adamantium skull) was vaporized, but he grew it back in like 2 seconds.
