Description
"The Anglermaid is the only fish known to specifically evolve to prey on humans. It's "lure" is the size and appearance of a human, and it will thrash around this lure at the top of the water to mimic a human in distress in order to attract prey. Despite this, the Anglermaid's low metabolism and small population mean they still kill less humans per year than mosquitos or other humans."One of my six submissions for AVNJ's second invent-a-fish contest.
