Description
Birds don't nest in the fall.
I've never really tried a fall themed picture before, so this one was a lot of fun to work on.
I tried a few new things when drawing the sky and grass, and switched the style of the dragon's eye from my last picture.
I'm rather proud of how it turned out.
The warm color scheme was probably inspired by some of the awesome art made by Cryslara.

I played around with the color choice quite a bit on this picture. It was a rather fun one to make, but quite time consuming.

Amazing work, I love how you used the colours for the scenery and the dragon, but positions of the dragon and the human kinda reminds me of the movie "Eragon" heh...

It's been a while since I've seen that movie. I've never read the books, but it seemed like the movie tried to cram too much in too short of a period of time. The animation for Saphira was good, though.
Dragonheart is several years older, but I think it's a much better movie.

It's been awhile since I've seen it as well, but, personally I think most movies have a tendancy to cram too much into a short period of time, especially if it's a large novel, and I've never read the books either, as for the animation in the movie, I couldn't help but feel like there was something wrong, like as though Saphira's wings were too far down on her body...heh.
Anyway, as for Dragonheart...I've never seen it nor heard of it, so I don't know.

Dragonheart is older, but you might be able to find it at a video rental place.
It's not an overambitious novel adaption, so it's paced much better. I really like that movie.
Also, Sean Connery does an awesome dragon voice.

nice, the only movies I can actually recall seeing with dragons in it, are Eragon, Dungeons & Dragons, and The Never Ending Story, but, I'll keep an eye out for that one, I just hope I wont need a VCR...not too easy to find a working one anymore...
