Description
Art complete!This piece was quite a bit simpler than my last one, but I think the perspective and composition are a bit more elegant. That sky sure was fun to draw.
I'm trying to work on my painting technique, so this one is much less reliant on lines than my last piece. Also, I got tired of using a pre-made tree brush, so I made a new brush of my own again.
I hope you all enjoy it. Comments and criticism are always welcome, and I'll do my best to reply to every one.

I'm glad you enjoy this piece.
I modified a tree brush from a brush pack a while back, and found that it works quite excellently for clouds, so I use that to get the soft edges.
The clouds were actually made in three separate layers, and blended together, to smooth things out a bit more after that. The most important thing with clouds is to make them add to the composition. If you just draw random clouds, they might be distracting, but if they add to the composition, you can almost draw them however you want.

This might just be one of my favorites of yours, lately at least. The color is beautiful, as is the imagery and idea. I love how huge you draw your dragons.
The trees look great, as well, but I think my favorite feature is the "fish eye lens" effect that you've created along the bottom. It adds a lot to the image and the perspective.

I had a lot of fun with the perspective on this one.
When I looked back on my last piece, the technique was good and all, but it felt like it was lacking focus. So, I decided to make a quicker and simpler picture here, with a bit of magic to liven things up.

The illumination in this piece is especially wonderful - yes, "elegant" covers it as well. I like the simple color scheme and the focus on that gigantic dragon.

I tried a few different color schemes on this one. More complicated color schemes had a tendency to make it look less focused. Sometimes the simple approach is the best one.
