Description
These are the alternative colour variations to my first serious attempt at fashion design, my leather jacket that I love already even though it doesn't exist yetNormally when it comes to jackets and other "heavier" clothing I stay away from bright colours in favour of more neutral whites, greys and blacks. But I made an exception this time, the red was chosen to be the showcase one. But I think each has its own redeeming qualities, if I was loaded I'd have one of each made

Yes, I know what you mean about the Indiana Jones "wearable" clothing. I have some of that sort and it is both comfortable and stylish.
Regarding your fashion design skills . . . You already have an innate eye for fashion design and most exceptional artistic skills. The only thing a "proper" course or college degree program might offer is discipline across multiple fashion design genres. I have seen so called professional designs that are not nearly as good as your design here. Actually the design looks a bit "futuristic" and reminds me of something that might be seen in a Blade Runner world.

its so weird how the color influnces the look of the jacket so much, to me the grey one looks urbany, the red one looks like a classic sporty/hot rod, the black one bikerish, and the white one rockstarish (just lik u named it-lol)
personally, my fav is the grey one, but i would totally wear any of them

The name fitting with the white one is good actually since the white one was actually the first one I made, with all other variations done afterwards (even though here the order they are laid our suggest differently) I like the "rockstar" look in a lot of clothes, which is why I'm still not 100% sure on what colour I like most, as I would prefer that over something sporty (sporty in anything to me is something I affiliate with douchebags ) Then again, I have some white shirts and jackets already, but nothing red.
But I also would wear any of them too! I didn't make any colours that I think would look silly

The black or the grey are the ones I'd go for.

They probably would go with the most amount of other stuff But I have a couple of grey and black jackets of other types already

Thanks! Those two definitely stand out the most, the white one was actually the first one I designed, and the red was last - but my favourite

Very nice. I prefer the white. I'm wondering though (as someone who sews) why the back looks so much wider than the front? The front looks really tailored and tight, but it looks like you've built up the back proportions significantly. Is that an illusion, or were you planning on all kinds of additional fabrics back there?

The back view did come out a little differently as expected, I might have to fix that if I ever get it done, but its not supposed to be super bulked up on the back or anything

I thought maybe it was designed to...you know. All the impression of being a gymbunny, none of the actual work...

Haha, I wouldn't mind that actually, a bit of padding near the top to compliment (or fake) muscle mass would increase the appeal But then again, I don't like the idea of people using clothing to "fake" a body type, wearing girdles to appear thin, wearing heels to appear tall, they only work until they come off

You must not like women much, then...most of us are all fake, from the color of our hair to the makeup to the clothes designed to sell...I'm not sure what, but we BUY it by the millions so it must be designed to sell, right? Clothes to make you seem slimmer, richer, more stylish, more clever, to identify with this ideal or that attitude, shoes to make you taller, perfume to make you smell better, food to put on weight (okay, mostly that's a guy thing), food, undergarments, and yes, even water to make you take it off...
I wondered once if they had to have special drains installed in moviestar homes; all that crap they go out in, you gotta wonder if they need a live-in plumber to keep the showers from backing up? The little girls pile the crap on to look older...but the old broads, they've got a virtual person sculpted, blowdried, and spraypainted on. Every. Day. Do all that work, THEN go out the door.
Huh. Gofigger.
And ... so what happens when you meet someone. At some point, you spend the night. Does s/he wake up the next morning and just...freak out? 'WhothehellareYOU and what'd you do with my girlfriend?'
I wonder if that's ever happened? I mean, I watch TMZ sometimes in the wee hours of the morning, and those guys hang out and spot celebs so they can catch them for the show. How? I don't recognize MOST of them when they've got their normal faces on. I bet. I bet they go out in real life undetected ALL the time, they just...look like humans. And at least half of 'em are seriously UGLY without all their paint applied. It's like that scene in "They Live", with the sunglasses, and the aliens....
Okay. I think I wandered off on a tangent there. But back on topic, I love the jackets; they're inspiring!

Lol, well I'm fine with image "enhancers". A bit of eyeliner is fine to highlight the eyes, a vertically-striped top to slim the person down is OK, but banding in a belly that's going to pop out an extra 6 inches once removed is just setting both parties up for disappointment
I almost never watch TMZ since I hate all celebrity/Hollywood related crap unless the day comes that I get a role in something But I agree - we seem to forget that celebrities always wear tons of makeup and designer clothes...when on camera, but when not many of them look pretty normal
