You guys really didn't think that last submission was going to be it for Halloween did ya Good thing it wasn't, since it flopped harder than anything I've done in years. perhaps dA really is dying, so time to breathe some new life into it. Been working on this for ages, in fact - the early 3D modelling stages began a couple of years ago, but I had to put it on hold..twice, as I ran out of time to complete it two Halloweens in a row. But I managed to get the remaining 90% of the work done this time, though just barely since I still finished later than I hoped, but I'm still in time for the American audience, who are really the biggest celebrators of the holiday anyway. I've done one of these for Christmas, and now I dedicate the fifth in the series to Halloween

This certainly ended up very different from my original plan, which was going to be even darker and involve more houses. Perhaps I wouldn't have finished so late if I didn't waste hours modelling extra houses that I decided not to use since I favoured a more rural ambiance when it came to setting up everything else. But I think this direction managed to combine the spooky theme with an eerily relaxing one, typical of the kinds of moods I like to work with.
